Pete, our owner, brings over 30 years of education, creativity, and experience in the Design / Build Green Landscape Industry together with his understanding of horticulture and practical application of plant materials to his love of the creative design process. He has been assisting Residential and Commercial clients alike helping to bring their dreams, ideas and desires into a beautiful reality. .
We specialize in helping our clients realize their dreams by creating beautiful, unique & inviting outdoor living spaces while increasing their quality of life and property values. Our goal is to assist our clients in creating "Outdoor Room(s)" that tie into their homes' architecture and design style. We use natural stone, concrete, brick, wood, water, soil, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, perennials, annuals, and many other materials to create the "walls, ceilings, floors and accents" of their "Outdoor Room(s)." Our ultimate goal is to work together with our clients to bring their dreams, ideas and desires into a beautiful reality. Whether its a front yard re -do, a backyard pool garden with a cabana and fireplace or an estate master plan, we can assist you with the entire Design Process.
We use a computer program called Pool Studio developed and supported by Structure Studios to generate & present our design ideas, concepts and plans for all our projects. This allows us to draw & design in 2D & instantly present in 3D, providing you the opportunity to see the design concepts throughout the entire process in a virtual reality as they relate to your home or building structure.
I just added another skill to my tool belt of design services....Sketch Up! Recently heard about the SketchUp Beginning and Intermediate Courses offered by Clare Le Roy @ The Little Design Corner. Great class! Clare is a great teacher and her Facebook Community is helpful, encouraging and very instructive. Took me about 6 weeks to work through the teaching modules. If you're at all interested in learning Sketch Up, check out these courses at her website....thelittledesigncorner.com
Let me know if I can help to bring your project to life with Sketch Up!
Cheers!
Your satisfaction is our priority as we strive to provide services that meet your needs and expectations. We start every project by scheduling a consultation with you in order to gain a better understanding of your dreams, ideas, desires, goals and needs for your project. We do this in an attempt to complete your design project in an efficient & timely manner .
The Design Process starts with this legal document called the Site Survey normally included in your closing documents once you've purchased your house. The Site Survey helps to communicate the "Useable Spaces" in your front yard and back yard, indicating where your house / structures, the Property Lines, Fence Lines, Utility Easements, Building Lines and any other pertinent Development Lines occur on your piece of property. Utility Easements are designated portions of land that allow utility companies the right to access and control your property to install & access public utilities for the common good. Permanent structures are not recommended to be placed in Utility Easements.
Some of our clients contact us while they're working with their architects and interior decorators to finalize their new construction / remodeling house plans. Those plans and details are wonderful sources of information that help us to "marry" the house to the grounds / areas outside of the house. Also, spend some time perusing and surfing some of your favorite websites for pictures, images and details that are representative of your ideas and vision for your project. Set up a "Project" folder on your desk top or wherever is convenient for you and put all your search ideas & pics into one place. HOUZZ, Pinterest & Google / Images are great places to start searching and dreaming. Pictures of your existing house and yard as well as some general measurements help us to gather the needed information to begin the Design Process.
We will schedule a time to meet to discuss the scope of your project and your ideas for the elements to be included in the Design Process. After the meeting, we will then put together a Design Proposal that represents the time & costs required to produce the needed plans.
Deliverables to be provided to the client include the following;

- Provide 3d images of the final design – Via email Jpeg images

Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions;
How much does a design cost?
It all depends upon the scope /size of your project and the design elements to be considered in the design. For example...A simple front or backyard landscape design plan or a simple pool plan starts @ $500.00
What all is included in the cost of a Design Plan?
The scaled plan would include the existing house / site structures, easements / building lines, ex trees / plants, driveways, sidewalks as well as all the new amenities...i.e. pool, spa, fountain, cabana / arbors, sport courts, firepit/ outdoor kitchens, landscape, and plants. Landscape materials quantities, plant sizes and quantities as well as any other pertinent notes are included on the plan as well.
